There are any number of places to fish from the rocks locally and Woodpoint is one of the easiest to get to - walk past the Courtmacsherry Hotel, past the caravan tennis courts on your right and you will see a car park in front of you with a small cut-off lane to your right, take that little road and walk up and through the Courtmacsherry forest till you come to the headland (approx half a mile), that is Woodpoint and in front of you and down below is where the rock fishing takes place !
